We had to "downsize" our dam herd since we had almost 50 llamas. We hated to part with any of them, but we can't keep them all. We've had our web site since 1995, and we finally (in 2002) offered these gals for sale. You'll find that we have the same high standards in our llama dams as we do in our sheep and dogs. They MUST be good milkers and good mothers. The gals here that have birthed have proven themselves to be excellent dams. The younger ones come from excellent dams, and we have every reason to believe they will follow in those maternal toe prints. You'll also find we love great fiber when you get your hands on these gals. Most are "growing out" from previous shearings. If you'd like a package deal, talk to us! Or add that one special gal, that you know you deserve, to your existing herd. These gals are even prettier in person, so arrange a visit! If you are looking for males, see our Stud Prospects and Geldings for Sale. The photos linked to words open in a new window and are high byte, so please be patient as they load. Much will depend on your own connection speed. But they are there! All the windows have sliders and you can also drag the corners to make the window larger. | Groveland's The Divine Sarah SOLD! Female 5-29-96 * ILR 155108 Kesling's Vaquero X Lauren's Hope Sarah was named for my sister-in-law, but her
barn name is Babs, short for Babinski, which is what she was called
while her mom was having a breeding to Aladdin's Chaldean. Babs just
seemed to fit her, and it stuck. She's a bay with lush dark red fiber. She's an extremely easy keeper, with a sweet disposition that she shares with her half sisters, LaLa (above) and High Hopes (shown lower on this page).
|
| Nokomis' Manoka SOLD! Female 4-01 * ILR pending Embarcadero X Nakiska's Nokomis Manoka is an Embarcadero
daughter, out of the beautiful grey dam below. Manoka has cloud soft fiber that any spinner will love. She's got those lovely ears, stretch and great
conformation. You can buy her open and breed her to your own stud, or I'll breed her to Applause when she's ready. She should be a great mother, just like her own dam.
|
| Nakiska's Nokomis SOLD! Female 9-22-97 * ILR 185106 Viking Prince X Nordic's Nakiska Nokomis is a lovely gray color (my favorite). She has everything
you could want in a dam, she's a good mom, an easy keeper, and you can see by her daughter above she produces beautiful babies! You'll see two more of her ½ sisters for sale on this page.
|
| Nakiska's Xena GF SOLD! Female 4-15-00 * ILR 229840 Embarcadero X Nordic's Nakiska Xena is a large, medium wool Embarcadero daughter who has lush and lovely dark
brown fiber. She's a ½ sister to Nokomis (above). She'll make a great addition to any breeding program with
her wonderful conformation and presence. She has a gorgeous face, great ears and she's ready to breed! You'll see two more of her ½ sisters for sale on this page.

| Jacarta's Miss Scarlette SOLD! Female 4-5-00 * ILR 229839 Senior Ricardo X Jacarta Scarlette was the cria Jacarta (shown on our Dam page) was expecting when we
bought her. Scarlette boasts great bloodlines, being a "Ricky" (Senior Ricardo) daughter, and a Balisto granddaughter! She wears fabulous dark red fiber over her straight frame and looks great even at the poop pile. Add her super ears, solid bone and you have a show-stopper. Plus she's ready to breed!
|
| Crystal's Krystal Reflection SOLD! Female 5-7-00 * ILR 229613 Bauernheim's Maine Man X Via's Crystal II Krystal is a sweet girl who is almost a carbon copy of her mom (seen behind her), with the added bonus of the ringlets she sports on her neck. With blue eyes and soft soft fiber, she is friendly and charming. She will just do anything, including wear a hat and be silly.
Via's Crystal II Bred Female 7-12-85 * ILR 73815 Via's Romeo X Sarah Vaughn A heavy wool, blue eyed paint, she was a show stopper in
her day. She's the mom of Blanquita and Krystal Reflection.
|
| Bracelet Baby SOLD! Female 10-21-95 * ILR 145622 Embarcadero X Jovita's Fiona Baby is a tall, stretchy, golden red Embarcadero daughter. She was named for the white rings around her front pasterns. Her first
cria was a gray daughter by Bauernheim's Maine Man. We've sold her and she'll be shown at the
Minnesota State Fair in 2002. Baby has ears that just about touch, and
passed that on to her daughter, along with her great conformation and lovely fiber.
|
| Blanquita SOLD! Bred Female 10-21-97 * ILR 192536 Chilean Challenger X Via's Crystal II Another blue eyed Via's Crystal II daughter, Blanquita has ringlets on her neck, and as a youngster, all over her body. Again, we'll get some better photos.
|
| Lauren Hope SOLD! Female 5-8-93 * ILR 123367 Embarcadero X Nordic's Nakiska Lauren was one of the first llamas we purchased from Loren Hoppe, and is named for him. She is a light wool paint, but she has produced some fabulously woolly crias, the most recent of which is Lauren's High Hopes (further up this page). Her full sister, Nakiska's Xena GF, also shown on this page.
|
| Groveland's Marnita Jane SOLD! Female 4-17-96 * ILR 151946 Embarcadero X Groveland's Natalie Check out those ears!!! Marnita has fiber that
is soft as a cloud - a hand spinner's dream. She's ½ English through her dam, and ¼ Chilean through her sire. She was the second cria born at our farm, so we're
very attached to her, but Rusty says we need to sell some of our kids. She's an excellent mom and births easy.
|
| Aspen Hills Kamilla SOLD! Female 5-13-98 * ILR 200693 Senior Ricardo X Aspen Hills Katura Kammi has heavy bright red, soft fiber with white appy spots on her face and legs. I fell in love with those freckles! She has a great disposition. She's a ½ sister (same sire) to Jacarta's Miss Scarlette (featured higher up this page).
