You'll find that we have the same high standards in our llama dams as we do in our sheep and dogs. They MUST be good milkers and good mothers. The gals here that have birthed have proven themselves to be excellent dams. The younger ones come from excellent dams, and we have every reason to believe they will follow in those maternal toe prints. You'll find offspring from some of these gals on our Female Llamas for Sale page and our Stud Prospects and Geldings for Sale page.

The photos linked to words open in a new window and are high byte, so please be patient as they load.

Jacarta
Female

Balisto X Jacy

Jacarta (shown in center) is a Balisto daughter! She has abundant dark brown fiber and has produced many beautiful crias. She's an excellent mother with tons of milk. We purchased her at Aspen Hills herd dispersal, and they told us she originally came from Kay Patterson's herd. We are excited about the crias she might have with Chrome Zone or Boo (Knight Charmer).

Pie is Honeyfire's dam and we got them together. Before Honeyfire, Pie birthed another lovely daughter at Castalia, Starz. Pie was Chelle's spoiled baby and this gal loves her hugs! (That's her own dam pouting in the background, because she wanted Pie to leave so she could be Chelle's favorite again.) Pie has a beautiful head, great bone, and she loves being a mother (shown with Starz at 3 days old). We've breed her to our senior herdsire is Embarcadero (Deacon's White Knight x Sable of Tunitas Creek) and we're excited about what we think they'll produce.

Embarcadero X Dashya

We call her Raffi and she's a very interactive llama with a great personality. Her dark brown fiber is heavy and she's a great mom. She's an Embarcadero (Deacon's White Knight x Sable of Tunitas Creek) daughter and was born covered in ringlets. We'll get more photos of her.

This is not all of our "keeper dams", but we're in process of getting more photos. You'll find offspring from some of these gals on our Female Llamas for Sale page and our Stud Prospects and Geldings for Sale page. We'll be happy to answer any questions you have about our llamas. Better yet, arrange a visit to meet them in person!
